On Contemporary Luminaries ( The Subject of Dr. Pierre Grimes ) [ 1 ]


The Good Doctor of Philosophy and I have Spoken by Inspired Chance, - in reflective Odds and Ends and Pregnant Pauses - and then too, in Brevity. Certainly, my lugubrious details and passions fell fastidiously upon this Serene seeming Man – who has lived too Long to either Communicate or Excommunicate the Values of Symbols, Lores, and Motifs. Indeed, in Long Living Age, he has Lived Well, as his Poses testify with Contemplative Clarity and an Ascetic mildness that pervades in the small sagely lines he has reciprocated to my Long and more Exhausting methodological manuscripts. In this reciprocity we have realized our Fidelity and Mutuality in vast and ineffable degree and Character beyond Space-Time. What more, like my Self, he too has Lived in the Contemporary Era, as an American and so On, yet very much a Universal Man, and unspoliated by the tiresome tasks of philosophy, and the intricate existential burdens adduced by the “Job” of transcoding collegiate instructions. To have Lived in One Space – called “The Same Time” with him has given me Presence of Such Joy and Hope, that such Men still Live and Teach and Learn in the World, despite its Conditions, and being that it is So, such men, immutably Shall and Remain, to Live and Teach and Learn in this World, as one day their slow toiling, humble, and befitting traditions, shall lose even the excruciating distance in Contrasts some Sages may feel in being Apart from the World of the Valley, or the enormity of Sublimity – which yet – is Inadequate for the Final Sublimity unto the Eternal. In making a Union of Sorrows and Joys, they – or rather – We – Continue to form a Circle of Tears, in which we expend and Let Go together, all the veils and garbs of Posterities, and in our excessive brevity and length, there is an Homage of a One Hundred and Forty Four Thousand Embraces, Pining For a Glimpse of All-Ness – One day to be re-transmitted, re-plenished, and re-stored in the perennial developments of the worlds. Time has no Knowledge of Such Knowing. And as such, it is Well, that Dr. Pierre Grimes, Lives his Long Lived Ways, by turns and knots and grinds, - Conferring a fine Grounding – even as brew making his placeholders and propagators, Brave Ahead with a fascicle of inscriptions as Nautical Explorers and Voyagers of the Cross of the New Worlds, in the Span of Finite Communions, as well as Infinite.
